This brief article will give information regarding diplomat Daniel Taub. Taub will leave the United Kingdom. His role in the U.K was performed greatly as the Ambassador to the State of Israel to the Court of St. James. From his departure, he will be missed greatly. Also, he has greatly shown his skills as an Israeli envoy since 1982 when Shlomo Argov had almost got badly shot in London.
Daniel Taub forgoes formalisms and likes better to be addressed by Daniel. He has admitted to a great completion of accomplishment. These accomplishments regard the relations between Israel and the U.K. They have seemed to be strong and good as they ever were before. Also, beyond all this he has a large family as well. He has six children and one Grandchild as well. He also was able to see his first London musical in his last month living in the U.K.
Taub also has valuable advice that can help us in the areas of life and work. One of them regards reading, Taub enjoys reading books that have a connection into what he does. For example, once he was asked to give a lecture on Israel’s image historically in English literature. He used many of those classical books.
One piece advice, one I really agree with is that family comes fast. Taub and his family really want to go back to Jerusalem. But, at the same time they want their family to be together. It was really hard for the family to be separated when his oldest children stayed in Israel. But in this experience the children have benefitted and showed great support during this tough experience. They also have made many friendships in the process.
Now some general information regarding Daniel Taub. Taub currently works for the Yad Hanadiv foundation as the Director of planning and strategy. He was born in 1962 in Great Britain. He received his education in Oxford, University College in London, Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, and University College in Oxford as well. In 1989, he moved from London to Israel. Since he moved he has participated in the (IDF) Israel Defense Forces as a reserve officer and a combat medic as well in their international law division. In 1991, he has been the leader in many diplomatic and legal posts. From the years 2011 to 2015, he became the United Kingdom’s Israeli Ambassador.
